What makes our process better
Our approach to landscaping installs involves your collaboration every step of the way, regardless of the scope of work. On significant projects we ensure the finished product meets your initial and expected outcome through a series of steps outlined as follows:
After initial contact, we'll likely schedule a time to meet at your property to gather information necessary for an estimate.
Within 24-48 hours, you will receive an estimate. Subsequent revisions and adjustments will be made to agree on final scope of project.
Samples of project materials along with a project design are presented to the client for approval. Start date and other terms are confirmed at that time.
Commencement of project. Any deviance from the agreed project scope as a result of unforeseen factors are immediately communicated to you for approval.
At 50% completion, we conduct a check-in with you to confirm progress and note any revisions.
Another check-in will be conducted as needed between the half-way mark and completion.
Completed project is presented for a final sign off. Any minor adjustments or changes requested are completed at this time.

From Vision to Completion, OUr Process is A Transparent, Collaborative Approach to Landscape Design and Build
At Ponti Landscapes, we believe that a great result starts with a great process. That’s why our design-build landscaping approach emphasizes communication, collaboration, and careful planning at every step. Whether you’re planning a small front yard refresh or a full outdoor living transformation, our goal is the same — to deliver a smooth experience and an outcome that reflects your vision.
Here’s how we work:
Step 1: Initial Contact and On-Site Consultation
After you reach out, we’ll schedule a convenient time to visit your property. This initial meeting gives us the opportunity to walk the site, understand your goals, assess conditions, and take any necessary measurements. You’ll have the chance to share your ideas, ask questions, and learn about your options.
Step 2: Estimate and Scope Development
Within 24 to 48 hours of our site visit, you’ll receive an initial estimate based on the proposed scope of work. We refine this estimate through clear communication and client feedback, working together to finalize the scope, phases, and budget. If design services are required, we’ll discuss those deliverables and timelines up front.
Step 3: Design Review and Material Selection
Once we agree on scope and pricing, we’ll present material samples and (when applicable) design layouts. From stone and mulch types to lighting and plant palettes, we walk you through your choices and help you make confident decisions. At this stage, we also confirm start dates, timelines, payment structure, and other terms.
Step 4: Project Launch and Active Communication
With materials selected and the plan in place, we begin the build. You’ll hear from us regularly during the installation process. If we encounter any unexpected conditions that require a change in the plan (such as site drainage issues or hidden debris), we communicate them promptly and seek your approval before moving forward.
Step 5: Mid-Project Check-In
At the halfway mark, we pause to walk the site with you (if available), answer questions, and confirm that the project is progressing as expected. This is also an opportunity to discuss any adjustments or additions before we proceed toward completion.
Step 6: Final Walkthrough and Touch-Ups
Once the work is complete, we review the finished project with you in person. If any final refinements or small touch-ups are needed, we complete them at this time. We don’t consider the project complete until you’re fully satisfied with the results.
Step 7: Enjoy Your New Outdoor Space
From that point on, it’s yours to enjoy. Whether it’s a functional outdoor patio, a beautifully graded lawn, or a fully transformed backyard retreat, your new space is designed and built for long-term beauty, usability, and value.
