Our design-build approach is structured, transparent, and client-focused; giving you clarity early on, thoughtful guidance throughout, and a finished space you can enjoy for years to come. From the first introductory call to final walkthrough, our goal is to make the experience as smooth, exciting, and low-stress as possible.

Here’s how we work:

Step 1: Introductory Call and On-Site Consultation

Every project begins with a brief introductory phone call. This conversation helps us gain a high-level understanding of what you’re looking to accomplish, the type of space you envision, and whether we’re a good fit to move forward together.

From there, we schedule an on-site consultation. During this visit, we take a deeper dive into your property, discuss desired solutions and enhancements, and explore what’s possible for your space. This is a collaborative and exploratory conversation focused on ideas, opportunities, and overall direction.

At this stage, everything is intentionally low-pressure and exploratory.

Step 2: Budget Alignment & Project Feasibility

Following the on-site consultation, our goal is to provide you with a realistic ballpark cost range and align expectations around budget early in the process.

This step is critical. It allows us to:

• Confirm project feasibility

• Establish realistic expectations

• Ensure design decisions move forward with clarity and confidence

By addressing budget up front, we help eliminate surprises later and create a smoother experience as the project progresses.

Step 3: Collaborative Design Phase

Once we’ve aligned on direction and budget, we move into the design phase where your project truly begins to take shape.

Using industry-leading software, we create detailed 2D master plans and 3D design renderings that allow you to visualize your future outdoor space before construction begins. During this phase, we establish:

• Project layout and flow

• Materials and finishes

• Installation methods and construction details

Design is a collaborative and exciting process. We work closely with you, refining the plan through feedback and discussion until we arrive at a final design that feels right.

HOA and Permitting support

As part of the design phase, we assist with HOA submissions and approvals when required. We also handle all necessary permitting and authorizations with the city and relevant municipalities, so you don’t have to manage that process yourself.

Step 4: Design-Build Scheduling Advantage

Breaking from industry norms, your project is added to our installation schedule as soon as you enter the design phase, keeping momentum high.

While the design is being finalized, your project is already moving through our scheduling queue. This allows us to work toward groundbreaking while design and development is underway, ultimately reducing overall lead times and shortening the wait between planning and construction.

Step 5: Construction & Ongoing Communication

With design details finalized, we’re ready to break ground.

The collaboration doesn’t end when construction begins. Throughout the installation process, you’ll hear from and walk the site with us regularly to ensure expectations are met and the project is progressing as planned. If we encounter any unforeseen site conditions or situations that require adjustments, we communicate them promptly and seek your approval before moving forward. Transparency and communication are central to how we work.

Step 6: Final Walkthrough & Project Completion

Once construction is complete, we conduct a final walkthrough with you to review the finished project together. If any final refinements or small touch-ups are needed, they are addressed at this time. We don’t consider a project complete until you’re fully satisfied with the results.
